About

Ashley Rowe is a Toronto-born designer whose work is defined by restraint, longevity, and a singular point of view. She built her brand from the ground up—teaching herself to sew, drafting her own patterns, and refining a design language rooted in structure, proportion, and permanence. It was in Marfa, Texas, that her vision crystallized into the disciplined, enduring aesthetic that continues to shape the brand today.

In 2015, she introduced the label with a six-piece denim collection that quietly resonated far beyond West Texas, earning early support from Need Supply. What began as an exploration of denim evolved into a tightly edited practice: hard-wearing fabrics like raw canvas and denim, cut with architectural precision and designed to age beautifully. Each piece is made to soften, fade, and take on the imprint of its wearer—becoming more personal over time.

Ashley Rowe has been carried internationally by retailers including Beams, Selfridges, Tenoversix, and Totokaelo. From 2017 to 2020, she operated a storefront in Marfa, alongside a Los Angeles shop in 2019, cultivating a dedicated community drawn to her understated, enduring approach. Today, AshleyRowe.com serves as the primary destination for her core silhouettes and limited releases.

Her work has been worn by artists including Solange and St. Vincent, and featured in publications such as Vogue, The Cut, Refinery29, The New York Times, Elle, InStyle, WGSN, and Goop.

At its core, the brand embodies a belief in the long haul—clothing made not for a season, but for a life.
